Urban Scrawl, the FREE annual 2-day public mural festival in Franklinton, is back! This August 24-25, the Franklinton Arts District invites you to join 5,000 of your closest friends and immerse yourself in a one-of-a-kind experience where dozens of artists create large-format murals next to 400 West Rich, Columbus's largest indoor artist community.

The Call for Artists is Now Open! To apply, visit www.franklintonartsdistrict.com/scrawlapplication and complete the application no later than Sunday, July 14, 2019. Questions about the event should be directed to urbanscrawl@franklintonartsdistrict.com.

In addition to the fantastic art, attendees should plan to eat at the city's best food trucks, listen to electronic DJ performances, watch amazing youth break-dancing competitions, and enjoy a host of adult beverages from Columbus’s finest breweries and distilleries.

Families are welcome and encouraged to attend Urban Scrawl, including an area where the kids can let their creative juices flow – Scrawl Junior!

Festival Hours:
Saturday, August 24 – Noon to 10pm
Sunday, August 25 – Noon to 6pm
