Studio #302 at the 400
David pours warmth into his work with a focus on figure-form and environments. He often assembles a dramatic scene cast from a collection of his characters, all based on instances in his own life. Working primarily with oil paints, he frequently blurs the lines between fiction and reality. Through the emphasis on contrasting lighting and color, David captures a unique, vivid story in each individual piece.
“Art is important to the community because of how it draws people in, the area is improving.”
